1. The rented bicycle(s) are supplied to the Renter upon provision of a  safety deposit.

2. Upon receipt of the rented bicycle(s), the Renter must themselves check for any damage or non-functioning parts on the bicycle(s)and inform Bike City immediately if any are found.

3. The Renter agrees to insure that:

• no physical changes are made to the bicycle(s);
• the bicycle(s) is/are protected against misuse and/or theft by third parties. (The Renter should follow the security precautions as instructed by Bike City);
• the bicycle(s) are returned at the end of the rental period.

4. The Renter agrees to be fully responsible for theft or damage of  the rented bicycle(s). The Renter agrees to be fully responsible for repair or replacement costs incurred during the Rental period unless caused by natural wear.

5. Bike City is not responsible for damage incurred by the Renter  to the rental bicycle(s) or by the rental bicycle(s). Further, Bike City is not responsible for any damage, direct or indirect, that may be caused by the bicycles(s) or the use of the bicycle(s) for as long as the bicycle(s) have not been returned to Bike City. The renter has the option to take an insurance for theft and damage. In this case, only damage caused by reckless and/or negligent behaviour must be reimbursed by the renter.

6. Transport and/or repair costs of bicycle(s) that break down are to be paid by the Renter.

7. The rear rack on the bicycle(s) is intended for baggage only. The Renter is not permitted to transport a second person on the bicycle(s) except for a child in a child’ seat. (max. 25 kg.)

8. Upon misuse of the bicycle(s), the Renter is to return the  bicycle(s) immediately when demanded by an authorized Bike City representative and loses his/her claim to reimbursement of his/her deposit.

9. By accepting our offer and our payment regulations, the Renter declares that he/she is also in agreement with the conditions specified above by Bike City.
